Tim was a willing victim in this game with the kids from the shelter.

Tim Holland, a good friend of La Ola Children’s Shelter, passed away on January 28 from complications of cancer. Tim was a volunteer worker, supporter and board member of La Ola. He helped us in so many ways, including building a computerized accounting system for us. One day last summer Tim invited the kids from the shelter over for a pool party at his house. We will never forget the picture of him standing in the middle of the pool with the kids. There were purple bows that the girls had put in his hair and then that big smile on his face. He loved the kids of La Ola so much. He will be sorely missed.
