La Ola was founded to provide a home for children in need. “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Mark 10:14. We believe that La Ola is a vessel to bring the kingdom of God to these children and to help them understand their place in God’s kingdom.  In this way their lives will be fully restored.

La Ola is not just about restoring the lives of children. It is about providing a place where others can have the opportunity to serve. More than just a physical shelter, we want to shelter these children from the storms of life that have surrounded them and to help them find meaning and purpose for their lives. God’s power can calm their storms. Our desire is to provide a loving, family style environment where these children can accept and incorporate the power of God in their lives to achieve their full potential.
